National Park Alpine Lodge

National Park Alpine Lodge was built in 1912, a is still a charming historic landmark.
The National Park Village is in the centre of an outdoor paradise, which has so many awesome things to explore for all age groups and abilities.
Offers range from hiking, canoeing, hunting, trout fishing and 4x4 driving to white water rafting, climbing, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and many more.

National park Alpine Lodge offers accommodation which includes a family room, budget double rooms, single rooms and ecomomy bunk house rooms(only available in the summer)with shared bathrooms.

There is a fully equipped communual kitchen with free tea and coffee available. Other perks include free parking, free Wifi, great pressure showers, a big comfortable living room and an onsite dairy, offering a variety of goods which include but are not limited to as follows: fresh milk, bread, eggs, bacon, assorted confectionary and essential groceries and amenities, so guests can skip trips to the supermarket and save valuable time during their stay with us.

Next door has a great local bar as well with some awesome food, a variety of NZ beers and wines plus a pool table which makes it a nice place to relax and meet different people.

National Park Alpine Lodge provides a shuttle booking service to and from the Whakapapa ski field and Tongariro Crossing on behalf of the guests.

There is a non-powered campsite for camper vans and self-contained vans or an option to tent and use the Alpine Lodge facilities available in summer and winter.
