With our central location you can easily enjoy both ski fields in one day while staying at The Crossing Backpackers. Whakapapa is 15mins drive from the lodge and Turoa can be reached within 25min. We provide an ideal base for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, Northern circuit and other National Park walks with transport options available. Tramping, skiing, cycle trails, kayaking and many other outdoor activities are available in our area.
From dorm rooms to private self contained family units we have a variety of accommodation also including campervan and tent sites for the summer.
