Alpine Vintage Car Show

Calling all car enthusiasts and motorheads! New Zealand's 2nd Annual *Alpine* Vintage & Classic Autoshow will take place 1 June, 2024 [King's Birthday weekend].

The event will again be held at the National Park Village school grounds on the corner of Buddo and Carroll Streets - Entry for vehicles is free in seven {7} categories, with ‘BEST OF CLASS’ being awarded in each class:

Vintage Vehicles (VV) - Motor vehicles constructed between 1 January 1919 and 31 December 1931

Post Vintage Vehicles (PVV) - Motor vehicles constructed between 1 January 1932 and 31 December 1945

Post War Vehicles (PWV) - Motor vehicles constructed between 1 January 1946 and 31 December 1960

Post 1960 Vehicles (P60V) - Motor vehicles constructed between 1 January 1961 and 31 December 1980

Post 1980 Vehicles (P80V) - Motor vehicles constructed on or after 1 January 1981, and at least 30 years old

Customs (Any make or model year vehicle) - A custom vehicle which is intended for passenger use that has been altered to either improve its performance, change its aesthetics, or a combination of both

‘RUST BUCKET’ Class – From jalopies to salvaged rebuilds (Sky’s the limit)

Those wishing to enter their vehicle/s can request a No-fee entry application via email at [email protected] noting all show entries must be received by Sunday, 26 May 2024.

For this year’s event, we’re excited to introduce a ‘Mountain Run’ which has been scheduled for all entry attendees following the Autoshow on Sunday, 2 June {Rain date for judging in the event] GATHERING will take place back at the Schoolyard grounds @ 10am for a Tea & Coffee ‘Mountain Run’ to Whakapapa and Ski fields.

Entrance is free for spectators with plenty of fun for the whole family, including Raffles, Awards presentation, Coffee & BBQ stations and more! We’d like to thank all those entries and volunteer participants from last year’s inaugural event which altogether helped establish a great time had by all with this year’s AUTOSHOW looking to be even bigger and better!
