Thank you to those parents who have completed ski forms and returned them to school. If you have not already done so, can you please complete Sheet #4 and #5 for your child and return them to school by this Thursday 2nd July.
If you would like to offer your services as a parent helper on snow days, please complete the following forms your child has brought home for you: Form #4 – The Risk Disclosure and Consent Form, Form #9 – The Staff/Volunteer Competence Form & Form #10 – Volunteer Helpers Form.
One-Day School Ski Programme:
- Please make sure that between now and our first ski day, your child/children have an ‘approved’ ski helmet. There will be no “loaners’ this year so it is important that you source a helmet over the next few weeks by either purchasing a helmet or speaking with one of our local Ski Hires about helmet rental for the season.
- Would you like us to on-sell any ski gear through the school that your child may have outgrown? Simply contact the school and we will advertise it for you through a newsnote. We currently have 2 helmets, one grey (medium), one black (small) - $30.00 each, and pink ‘OCKO’ goggles- $20.00 for sale. Please ring or visit the Office if you are interested in viewing or purchasing.
- Please make sure your child has adequate and appropriate clothing for under their ski uniform. As we know, the weather can change on us quite dramatically while we are up there, and all too often some of our children are dressed unprepared for cooler weather. Remember, they can always take layers off if the weather is warm, but if it cools considerably, and children are dressed inadequately, it makes for a miserable time on the mountain.
School Ski Sale: Our annual School Ski Sale will take place on Saturday 11th July. Once again we will need volunteers to help run this event.
Please fill in the Ski Sale Volunteer Form below indicating which day or days you are able to help, and please send to school by this Friday.
We will need people to help set up for the ski sale on Thursday 9th and Friday 10th, people to help man the sale on the Saturday, and with the clean-up on Sunday.
We appreciate any time you are able to spare to help with this most worthwhile event.
